How Much Does Corporate Video Production Cost in Los Angeles?

Why Is There Such a Range of Prices?
Ask three production companies to quote the same job, and you’ll likely get three wildly different numbers. Quotes for corporate video production cost in Los Angeles can easily range from $5,000 to well over $50,000 for the same job. Some of that difference comes down to companies outsourcing projects to cheap, inexperienced and uninsured labor to undercut their competition’s prices. Some of it comes down to agencies with heavy overhead charging a premium for their services. Highline Studios sits at the middle of the spectrum: an experienced team with the execution capabilities of a big agency, delivering cinematic, broadcast-quality work — without the bloated agency price tag. Here’s how our pricing actually breaks down.
What Drives the Price
Cost comes down to complexity. The four biggest factors in a production budget are crew size, number of shoot days, post-production complexity, and gear. Are we shooting on a cinema camera with premium glass (lenses), or does the budget not call for that level of production? We can make something look great on almost any budget, but some clients expect a very specific, elevated look that comes only from a particular camera-and-lens combination — for select projects, that even means real 16mm or 35mm film, which Highline can source through our sister company, Highline Camera Rentals — while others might not. A single-day shoot with a lean, junior-driven crew, standard gear, and straightforward editing lands near the bottom of the range. Add locations, interview subjects, motion graphics, travel, sophisticated lighting setups and premium glass, or a more experienced crew, and costs begin to climb quickly. No matter your budget, we can tailor a crew that fits — our goal is matching scope to spend, not pricing you out.
Highline Studios’ Corporate Video Production Cost Ranges
Most corporate videos we produce fall between $5,000 and $50,000, with complex multi-location or travel-heavy productions reaching $35,000 to $100,000+. Here’s what that looks like tier by tier.
For a stripped-down, half-day, local shoot with a skeleton crew and no frills, we can sometimes work with a budget below $5,000. This is the exception rather than the rule, but it’s an option for a simple, low-complexity shoot.
At the $5,000–$10,000 tier, you’re typically looking at a single-day shoot: one location, a medium-sized crew, and straightforward editing with no complex graphics. This works well for a simple company overview, a single testimonial, or a short recruiting video.
Move into the $10,000–$25,000 range, and the production gets more advanced. Expect a much more thorough pre-production and a more robust crew with greater pedigree (director, DP, sound, gaffer, PAs). You’ll also get a true cinema camera package, lighting for multiple setups, and an edit with award-winning color grading, sound design, and slick motion graphics. This tier covers most brand videos, product launches, and multi-interview projects.
Above $35,000, you’re usually paying for scale: multiple locations, multiple shoot days, heavy-payload drone work flown under FAA clearances, custom animation, or a cast of on-camera talent. Travel-heavy campaigns and anything requiring extensive post-production, like a documentary-style brand film, live in this tier.

How Highline Prices Your Project
We quote every project individually rather than working off a rate card. Two videos with the same runtime can have completely different production demands. That’s why a flat rate rarely reflects the real corporate video production cost. Our minimum project size is $5,000, and every quote breaks down crew, equipment, and post. That way you know exactly what you’re paying for — no guesswork.

How Long Does a Corporate Video Take?
Timelines depend on the scope of the project. A simple one-day shoot typically wraps in a couple of weeks from kickoff to delivery: about a week for pre-production (scripting, location scouting, crew booking), one shoot day, and one to two weeks for editing and revisions.
Larger projects with multiple locations or heavier post-production can run four to six weeks. Motion graphics, custom music, and multiple rounds of stakeholder review are the most common reasons timelines stretch. But we are fast and efficient at this. If you’re working against a hard deadline — a product launch, a board meeting, an ad buy — flag it to us up front. We build the shoot schedule and post-production timeline to your date.

Most projects run $5,000 to $50,000, with complex multi-location or travel-heavy work reaching $35,000 to $100,000+. See the full cost breakdown above for what each tier includes.
It comes down to where a company sits on the spectrum we describe above — cheap outsourced labor on one end, heavy agency overhead on the other. We keep our pricing in the middle, and every quote is scoped to your specific project rather than pulled from a flat rate card.
There’s a liability gap to consider first: Highline carries production insurance, and most independent freelancers do not, which matters the moment you’re shooting on a client site or with borrowed equipment. There’s also an experience gap. Less experienced videographers often haven’t worked inside a corporate environment before — they don’t always read the room, manage stakeholders, or know what a brand review process actually requires. Maybe that’s fine for a low-stakes project. But it’s a real risk to hand corporate work to someone junior when the CEO expects a level of polish and attention to detail that only comes from having done this before.
Every project is scoped individually, starting at a $5,000 minimum. Send us a brief and we’ll return a detailed line-item quote within two business days.
Sometimes — it all depends on the details of the project. It definitely doesn’t hurt to ask. We try to find a solution that works for every client’s needs, but our typical project minimum is $5,000.
